One research of expert group at Education Center and obesity Research at University of Temple (CORE) USA shows the relationship between sleep time in 1 night and organic weight with the total amount of food which children eating .

The research group had studied on 37 children with aged from 8 to 11 years . Nearly 1 / 3 of them are overweight at the beginning of the research . Experiment lasts for 3 weeks . Stage are distributed as follows : Week 1 child sleep normally , week 2 sleep than usual and 3rd week children sleeping less than usual .

In Week 2, when children sleep the most. The researchers observed Leptin protein is lower than before . Organic medium 's also lighter than 0.2 kg and less than 134 calories in one day .

Chantelle Hart at CORE said that , " The findings from this study shows that increasing children 's sleep at the age of study at night has a significant meaning for prevention against and treat obesity ".
